Your Visit
The manufacturing process consists of 39 phases and begins with the exact reproduction of the client's head by means of a 3D scan. This scan is a precise definition of the area to be thickened. The base of the prothesis is made up of a biomedical grade polymer resin membrane, dermatologically tested on which real and completely virgin hair is manually grafted one by one, respecting its natural distribution, inclination and density.
The prosthetic system is applied using liquid or solid medical grad adhesives (certified by the FDA). Each customer is previously subjected to an allergy test for compatibility with the materials in contact with the skin
The Process

The area to be thickened is identified and "designed".
Thanks to the latest generation technology, a precise digital 3D reading of the cranial conformation of the customer's head is performed. This processing is carried out in all CRLAB centers in the world. -
Thanks to robotic technologies present in our factory in Zola Predosa (BO), the exact copy of the customer's skull is reproduced.

To obtain a color perfectly in line with that of the customer, a careful selection of natural hair is carried out until the perfect blend is obtained. We only use natural and virgin hair, never treated and not dehusked.

The polymer base, previously made in the laboratories, is added with natural pigments to achieve the color of the Client's scalp. This base represents the support to insert the hair and will become a second scalp for our customers.

Hair grafting is manual: they are inserted one by one on the polymer base, following the distribution, inclination and direction of those of the client

The integration takes place at one of the CRLAB Centers, where the client's final styling is carried out.

The operator of the Center, after having deactivated the cohesive materials, proceeds to sanitize the epithesis and the skin, in order to guarantee the perfect adherence of the medical adhesive. Furthermore, during the session, if necessary, hair cutting and styling is also performed to improve the look.
For optimal maintenance of the prosthesis, it is advisable to carry out this operation periodically, every 3-4 weeks, approximately with the same frequency with which you go to the hairdresser.
Men's CNC Prosthetic
The CRLAB CNC is designed for any type of hair loss, androgenetic alopecia (male pattern baldness), scarring alopecias, or total alopecia.
Women's CNC Prosthetic
The CRLAB CNC is designed to lay at the top of head, either behind the hairline or recreating the bio hair line. The CNC can extend to any area of the head giving fullness and length.
The XT Prosthetic
The CRLAB XT is designed to lay at the back of the head, below the parietal ridge and above the occipital bone. This gives length and volume to the bio hair.
The CNC Full Prosthetic
The CRLAB Full Prosthetic is designed for full coverage. Those suffering from alopecia totalis, telogen effluvium, or any other types of hair loss.
